Verdansk Boosts Warzone, Developers Confirm Its Staying

It's safe to say that Verdansk has injected new life into Call of Duty: Warzone, and the timing couldn't be more perfect. The online community had previously branded Activision's now five-year-old battle royale as "cooked" until the nostalgia-driven return of Verdansk flipped the script. Now, the buzz online is that Warzone is "back." Sure, Activision did nuke Verdansk, but that seems to be water under the bridge. Players who drifted away and cherished Warzone as their lockdown entertainment are flocking back to the map that kicked it all off.
