Longleaf Valley, Treesplease\'s debut release, has helped plant over two million real-world trees

by Adam Feb 21,2025

Treesplease's Longleaf Valley initiative has achieved a remarkable milestone: players have collectively planted over two million trees in the real world! This success, in partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project, has resulted in a CO2 offset estimated at 42,000 tonnes.

This positive impact extends beyond the environmental realm. Treesplease CEO and founder Laura Carter received a Global Gaming Citizen award at the 2024 Game Awards for her climate action work, and Longleaf Valley itself won Best Purpose Driven Game at the 2024 Playing of the Planet Awards.

To celebrate the new year and the success of their "Play it, Plant It" model, Treesplease is launching a Veganuary in-game event. Inspired by the official Veganuary Cookbook, this event offers new content and adorable baby animal rewards for all players, regardless of their dietary choices. The company's commitment to positive impact is further highlighted by their upcoming game, Communite, which focuses on community building and improvement.
