A high-quality implementation of the iconic card game Durak, also known as Fool.
Durak, known as Fool, is arguably one of the most popular and widespread card games from the former Soviet Union. In this version, you can enjoy the game offline without an internet connection, using a deck of 24, 36, or 52 cards.
Durak (Fool) has two main variants: Podkidnoy (Throw-in Fool) and Perevodnoy (Transferable Fool). The core rules are similar in some respects, but each has its own unique nuances.
The goal is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. The last player with cards left becomes the "fool."
Podkidnoy, the classic version, allows other players to join the attack. Initially, only the main attacker can throw cards. If they cannot add more, the player to the defender's left may throw one card. After it is beaten, the turn to attack returns to the original player. This clockwise, turn-based attack structure gives this variant its "Throw-in" name and classic status.
Transferable Fool extends the rules for more excitement. From the second move onward, the defender can "transfer" an attacking card by playing a card of the same rank but a different suit. This deflects the attack to the next player clockwise, who must now defend. They may also choose to transfer, creating a dynamic chain of defense. This key mechanic gives the variant its "Transferable" name.
Game Features:
