One day, he and his team successfully opened a mysterious portal, unleashing terrifying creatures. They fought off the creatures but failed to seal the gateway.
As punishment, Pete was sentenced to life imprisonment and chained at the bottom of a well. Soon, more portals appeared worldwide, releasing dreadful entities that transformed the population into monsters. The world now faces imminent destruction.
Overwhelmed with guilt, Pete longed to fix his mistake but remained powerless. He endured 10,000 years in solitude, unable to share his thoughts with anyone in the endless darkness.
Suddenly, a sphere of light named Sophie descended into the well from above. Pete's lingering guilt transformed into a profound sense of duty toward this enigmatic Light. In Sophie, he found not just a companion but also his ultimate purpose.
Pop Gun: Brick Breaker is an Arkanoid-style game. Sophie and Pete form an inseparable team. Pete moves only within Sophie's light, and Sophie knows Pete alone can seal the portals. As a wizard scientist, Pete, aided by Sophie, smashes bricks and defeats monsters.
Breaking free from his chains, Pete rises into Sophie's light to finally close the portals and prevent global annihilation. In Pop Gun: Brick Breaker, he must destroy the portal gates that summon Monster Bosses and break bricks to progress.
The revived Pete retains memories of his past, though he has forgotten his numerous failed attempts to close the portals. He remembers his magical brick-breaking abilities. Wielding these powers, Pete must avoid defeat to prevent restarting from the beginning!
