Word Wright Adds to Game Room Catalog

by Riley Feb 18,2025

Game Room expands its library with the addition of Word Wright, a new word puzzle game. Initially showcased on Apple Vision Pro, Word Wright is also compatible with other iOS devices.

Game Room, the Apple Arcade offering, continues to grow its collection of classic and multiplayer games. The latest addition, Word Wright, is a hidden-word puzzle game featuring 20-35 handcrafted puzzles daily, using selected letters. The game supports six languages and allows for global friend challenges. Players receive three hints daily. Importantly, it's playable on both Apple Vision Pro and other iOS devices.

Word Wright joins a range of classic games already available in Game Room, including Solitaire, Checkers, and Sea Battle. While initially a Vision Pro highlight, its broader iOS device compatibility significantly enhances its accessibility.

Vision Pro's Reception: While Game Room itself is a success, the Apple Vision Pro hasn't quite revolutionized the AR market as anticipated. Production has even been scaled back, surprisingly even to skeptics.

However, Resolution Games, the developer, appears to have been forward-thinking in its cross-platform approach. Game Room's compatibility with numerous iOS devices should ensure its longevity.
