In *League of Legends* (*LoL*), the Demon’s Hand card game is the latest minigame that players can dive into for a limited time. A key aspect of this game is understanding and utilizing Sigils, which are crucial for enhancing your gameplay and making progress more manageable.
What Are Sigils in the Demon’s Hand in LoL?
Sigils are special stones within the Demon’s Hand that grant you beneficial effects. You can equip up to six Sigils at once, each providing unique bonuses that help you defeat opponents more effectively. These bonuses can either strengthen your hands or weaken your opponents, reducing the health you lose during battles. Sigil effects automatically activate when you play a hand that meets their trigger conditions.

The placement of Sigils in your box can be strategic, especially when facing different opponents. Each opponent may have a unique effect on the game, often related to how your cards function, such as altering the damage output based on the suit or the number of cards played. Some opponents can even neutralize the effect of your first Sigil, rendering it inactive for the battle. Therefore, you may need to rearrange your Sigils to ensure that the inactive one isn’t critical for your strategy.

Acquiring Sigils is straightforward. They are available for purchase at the Sigil Shop, which is marked by two coins on the map. When you visit these locations, you’ll be presented with three Sigils of varying strengths and costs. If the options don’t suit you, you can refresh the shop for one coin to view a new set of Sigils. Additionally, if your Sigil box is full, you can sell unwanted Sigils at the shop, freeing up space to buy new ones that better fit your strategy.
That covers everything you need to know about Sigils in the Demon’s Hand minigame in *LoL*. If card games aren't your thing, keep an eye out for the upcoming April Fools skins that will soon be available on Summoner’s Rift.
