Greak: Memories of Azur is coming to Android later this year, with developers unveiling a new teaser during the latest Latin American Games Showcase. Originally released on PC in August 2021, this beautifully hand-drawn 2D platformer is slated for mobile release in Q4 2025.
Check out the official announcement tweet and trailers below.
Greak: Memories of Azur Arrives Exclusively on Android
This single-player Metroidvania features side-scrolling action with stunning 2D hand-drawn visuals—its standout artistic charm. Players alternate between three siblings—Greak, Adara, and Raydel—exploring interconnected environments.
As the protagonist, Greak is the most agile sibling, able to slip through narrow spaces with his compact frame. He wields the Laurean Sword inherited from Raydel.
Adara, a mystic from Prya monastery, levitates and casts ranged spells while navigating aquatic areas—proving essential for both combat and exploration. Raydel serves as the trio's powerhouse, utilizing his hookshot and shield-bearing strength.
The Story Behind Greak
Azur crumbles under relentless invasions spanning centuries, as Courines flee lands corrupted by monstrous forces. Players must keep the family united while solving environmental puzzles and battling threats.
The game offers 25 trophies across four tiers (8 bronze, 9 silver, 7 gold, and platinum). Puzzles cleverly incorporate each character's distinct abilities, elevating gameplay beyond typical platformers through seamless storytelling integration.
