Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass

Get ready for the chilling debut of Marvel Rivals Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! This season plunges players into a gothic horror-themed experience dominated by Dracula, with a surprising shift away from Doctor Doom's usual villainy. The Fantastic Four take center stage as they confront Dracula's sinister plot after Doctor Strange falls victim to his schemes.

The Darkhold Battle Pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers a wealth of rewards. Complete the pass to earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. Ten exclusive skins headline the rewards, alongside a collection of sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A key advantage: the pass doesn't expire, allowing players to complete it at their own pace.

NetEase Games has unveiled a sneak peek at the impressive skin lineup:

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus (House of M inspired)
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor (Dark Souls-esque)
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker (Van Helsing inspired)

The season's dark aesthetic is palpable, from the blood moon casting its ominous shadow over New York City to the character skins themselves. Wolverine's vampire hunter-inspired look, Loki's sinister All-Butcher attire, and Moon Knight's stark black and white costume all contribute to the chilling atmosphere. Even Scarlet Witch and Adam Warlock receive darkly stylized makeovers.

While the battle pass is generating considerable excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some fans. While Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, their cosmetic options will be available through the in-game shop. Despite this, anticipation remains high for the new season's content and future developments from NetEase Games.
