Alphadia III launches today on Android for players worldwide, marking the third installment in the Alphadia series. Published by KEMCO and crafted by EXE CREATE, it first debuted in Japan in October 2024.
What’s the Plot of Alphadia III?
In Alphadian Year 970, the game immerses players in the climactic moments of the Energi War, a fierce struggle over a cryptic life force known as energi.
The world is split among three major powers vying for control: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east.
As chaos looms, a clone soldier named Alfonso takes center stage. The story ignites when a girl named Tarte arrives, bearing news of another clone’s death, sparking a pivotal change in him.
How Does the Gameplay Work?
Alphadia III features turn-based combat with a side-view perspective, rendered in classic pixel art. It includes SP Skills, which build up during battles and can shift the tide when used strategically.
Arrays offer tactical battle formations that unlock as you progress, providing varied approaches to combat based on your opponents.
A fresh mechanic, the Energi Crock, lets you deposit surplus items during your journey, gradually producing Energi Elements. These can be exchanged for equipment or rewards at special shops.
Players will encounter factions like Deval, a peacekeeping coalition, and elite forces like Nordsheim’s Rosenkreutz. The game also introduces distinct energi clone models, such as Nordsheim’s Berger Series and Schwarzschild’s Delta Series.
Besides the core narrative, Alphadia III offers rich side content and is optimized for controllers. It’s available on the Google Play Store for $7.99, with a freemium version including ads.
