FunPlus has built its reputation by bringing some of the mobile gaming world's most recognizable titles to players everywhere. From their latest launch, DC Dark Legion, to earlier hits like State of Survival, Sea of Conquest, and Call of Antia, their portfolio is impressive. The newest addition to this lineup is Tiles Survive!, now launching globally.
Does Tiles Survive! involve base building?
The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, though its charming art style softens the harshness of a dystopian world. You follow Sarge, a former Army Special Forces officer, as he guides a band of survivors through a zombie-infested wasteland.
Your mission is to fight off the undead, expand your territory, manage a community of survivors, scavenge for essential supplies, and work to rebuild society. It follows the classic survival strategy blueprint, with a key twist: the entire world is divided into distinct tiles.
Unlocking each new tile reveals different biomes, each with unique threats and trials. As you expand your reach, you’ll discover zones packed with collectibles and scarce resources. You'll also face specialized zombie types and navigate environmental hurdles.
Survivors can be assigned specialized roles, such as hunter, chef, or lumberjack. Their performance is directly tied to how effectively you maintain their health and morale. Tiles Survive! also introduces a detailed system for electrifying your shelter, a feature that unlocks once you restore an ancient power plant.
The game includes multiplayer elements
Players can join alliances to confront common dangers like severe weather or aggressive wildlife, collaborating on exploration and defense efforts. Throughout your journey, you’ll recruit heroes with distinct abilities that can significantly enhance your shelter's operations.
A multi-map structure allows for exploration across diverse locations. Numerous areas to discover add depth to the narrative and enrich the game's world. You can download Tiles Survive! for free from the Google Play Store.
