Diablo 4: All Forgotten Altar Locations Revealed

by Mia May 07,2025

A new kind of power is coming to *Diablo 4*, and it’s sure to resonate with fans of fantasy series like *Harry Potter* and *Agatha All Along*. However, joining a coven and mastering its secrets is no easy feat. Here's your guide to finding all the Forgotten Altar locations in *Diablo 4*.

How To Find All the Forgotten Altar Locations in Diablo 4

The Season of Witchcraft introduces a new Questline that lets you unlock Witchcraft Powers, categorized into three major types – Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay – each focusing on different aspects of occult magic. To harness these abilities, you must gain favor with The Coven by earning Restless Rot through mission completion.

As you progress, you'll be able to upgrade structures near the Tree of Whispers known as Altars. While most players will concentrate on these main Altars, there's another, more elusive type: Forgotten Altars. These grant access to powerful Lost Powers, but locating them is a challenge.

Unlike the main Altars, which appear at fixed locations, Forgotten Altars spawn randomly within dungeons across Sanctuary. This means you'll need to do some grinding, but since the season's Questline will already have you exploring dungeons, you might not need to go out of your way too much. The effort is well worth it, as Lost Powers are among the most potent abilities in the game.
