When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?
The Sweet Discoveries event kicks off on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and continues until April 29th at 8:00 p.m. The highlight is undoubtedly the introduction of Applin, a Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon hailing from the Galar region. To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. Alternatively, to evolve it into Appletun, you'll require 200 candies and 20 Sweet Apples. When evolving to Dipplin, its final evolution is Hydrapple.
The Apples, crucial for evolution, will be available in the wild. By tapping on them, you might encounter a Tart Apple, a Sweet Apple, or even Applin itself. Increase your chances of finding these Apples by using Mossy Lure Modules in your vicinity.

Moreover, there's an increased likelihood of hatching Shiny Delibird, Shiny Cherubi, and Shiny Skwovet from 7 km Eggs.
