Just like the original, Temple Run 2 delivers exhilarating surprises. You can play as four distinct characters: Guy Dangerous, Scarlett Fox, Karma Lee, and Barry Bones. Once again, you must escape the temple while being chased by the evil Temple Guardian—a monstrous demon monkey. Beyond running, jumping, sliding, and turning, you'll navigate treacherous cliffs, ride zip lines, avoid mines, and dash through mysterious forests.
The core gameplay remains familiar. Swipe up to jump over gaps and obstacles; swipe down to slide under traps and low ceilings; swipe left or right to make sharp turns; tilt your device to steer, narrowly avoid dangers, and collect coins along the path.
The game features power-ups and unlockable content that can be acquired with coins earned in-game or through optional purchases. Temple Run 2 doesn't force microtransactions, but buying a coin pack can be a tempting shortcut.
