Rules of the Game Svara (Svarka)
Svara, also known as Svarka, is an engaging card game that utilizes a deck of 32 cards, ranging from 7 to Ace. It can be played with a minimum of two players and offers a total of 4960 possible combinations, making it a game of both strategy and luck.
Rules
Each player is dealt three cards in a clockwise direction. The objective is to achieve the highest score based on the combinations of cards held. Here's how the points are calculated:
- Cards from 7 to 9: These cards score 7 to 9 points respectively.
- Cards 10, J, Q, K: Each of these cards scores 10 points.
- Aces: An Ace scores 11 points.
- Same Color Cards: The sum of the cards of the same suit determines the total points. For example, Q♦, K♦, and 10♠ total 20 points, while 10♠, 8♠, and K♥ total 18 points.
- Aces Combinations: Aces can be combined regardless of color; two Aces score 22 points, and three Aces score 33 points.
- 7♣ (Ceco Jonchev, Chechak, Chotora, Shpoka, or Yoncho): This card can be combined with any other card to score 11 points.
- Three 7s: This combination scores 34 points and is the strongest in the game.
- Three of a Kind: The points for this combination are calculated as three times the value of the card. For example, three 8s score 24 points (3x8), and three Queens score 30 points (3x10).

- 7♥, 9♦, 9♣: 9 points (the lowest possible score).
- 10♠, 10♦, 10♣: 30 points.
- 8♣, K♥, 9♦: 10 points.
- K♥, 9♥, Q♣: 19 points.
- Q♣, Q♥, 9♦: 10 points.
- A♠, A♦, 10♣: 22 points.
- 8♠, A♦, 7♣: 22 points.
- 10♦, 9♦, J♦: 29 points.
- Q♣, Q♥, Q♦: 30 points.
- 7♣, K♥, K♦: 31 points.
- 7♣, A♥, A♦: 33 points.
- Two 7s of any suit: 23 points.
Betting
- Ante: Before dealing the cards, each player places an ante bet.
- Blind Bet: The player to the left of the dealer can place a blind bet before seeing their cards.
- Doubling the Blind Bet: The next player to the left of the blind bettor can double the blind bet.
- Blind Bet Restrictions: If a player skips the blind bet, no new blind bet can be made by the next player.
- Post-Deal Betting: After cards are dealt, players place their bets.
- Blind Bet Requirement: If a blind bet is in play, the next player must at least double it.
- Revealing Cards: To see other players' cards, the blind bettor must pay the bet.
- Blind Bet Victory: If no one pays the blind bet, the last blind bettor wins.
- Winning the Game: The player with the highest points wins.
- Dealer Wins: If there are no blind bets and no other bets, the dealer wins.
- SVARA: If two or more players have the same score, it results in a SVARA.
- SVARA Rules: SVARA initiates a new game with all bets from the previous round carried over.
- Joining SVARA: Any player can join a SVARA by paying the SVARA join fee.
