Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures
Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and revealing which games will be leaving the service. January promises an exciting start to the year for subscribers.
This announcement follows Microsoft's earlier reveal of significant changes to Xbox Game Pass, including updated age restrictions and a revised rewards system, many of which are already in effect.
New Games (January 2025):
Seven new games are joining the Xbox Game Pass library in January 2025, as announced on the official Xbox blog on January 7th.
- Road 96: Available now (January 7th) across all Game Pass tiers (including PC Game Pass). This title previously appeared on the service but has returned after a period of absence.
- Lightyear Frontier (Preview): Available January 8th (Standard subscription).
- My Time at Sandrock: Available January 8th (Standard subscription).
- Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: Available January 8th (Standard subscription).
- Rolling Hills: Available January 8th (Standard subscription).
- UFC 5: Available January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate only).
- Diablo: Available January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only).
The arrival of Diablo and UFC 5 confirms earlier leaks, though access is limited to Ultimate and/or PC Game Pass subscriptions. The remaining titles are accessible with a standard subscription.
Additionally, new Game Pass Ultimate perks are available as of January 7th, including a weapon charm for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
Departing Games (January 2025):
Six games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:
- Common'hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment
- Insurgency Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
