Following the launch of Deadpool-themed gaming gear, Xbox continues its fun collaboration with Marvel by introducing this Wolverine-inspired controller featuring a design that pays tribute to the mutant's legendary physique.
"We heard you loud and clear, bub! As anticipation builds for Marvel Studios' 'Deadpool & Wolverine' hitting theaters July 26, and after launching Deadpool's custom Xbox controller, fans worldwide demanded Logan's own signature design," Xbox announced in their official blog post.
"Never ones to back down from a challenge (or risk angering the ol' Canucklehead), our team immediately got to work crafting this special Wolverine Xbox Wireless Controller."
Unlike the Deadpool bundle, Wolverine's Cheeky Controller comes as a standalone item. The eye-catching design sports Wolverine's signature yellow and blue color scheme. The magnetic back panel replicates the X-Man's distinctive adamantium-reinforced features with an innovative twist - it's fully removable and even interchangeable with Deadpool's controller backplate.
Xbox describes the controller as offering "a solid grip with surprising comfort." The textured rear panel is magnetically attached, allowing for easy removal or swapping with Deadpool's controller design if you're lucky enough to own both.
