Miller’s portrayal of Jocasta is said to highlight a “cunning and powerful” character driven by revenge. In Marvel Comics, Jocasta was originally created by Ultron as a robotic partner, with the Wasp’s consciousness briefly uploaded into her systems. The series, quietly in development for over a year, is being shaped by a team of veteran *Star Trek* writers. Terry Matalas, previously the showrunner of *Star Trek: Picard*, is leading the project as executive producer and showrunner. While Marvel has not officially confirmed the full plot, fan speculation centers on White Vision’s journey following his mysterious departure at the end of *WandaVision*. Deadline notes that *Vision Quest* will be set after those events, focusing on Vision’s quest to reclaim his memory and humanity—a storyline ripe for emotional depth and philosophical exploration.
Filming began earlier this spring, primarily at Pinewood Studios in London, with additional location shoots spotted in Scotland. Notably, the series is expected to feature two surprising returns: James Spader as Ultron—last seen destroyed in *Avengers: Age of Ultron* (2015)—and Raza, the Iron Monger-linked figure from the original *Iron Man* who once held Tony Stark captive.
