Executive Producer Marco Behrmann emphasized the game's readiness, stating, “The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently focusing on bug fixing, stability, and performance so that we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases.” While the delay is yet another in a long line of postponements, the update video offers some positive news. The Chinese Room has added more content, enhanced the narrative depth, and developed characters further since the last major update. Additionally, players can look forward to an “evolved role” for Fabien in the storyline. The journey of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been fraught with challenges since its announcement in 2019 by developer Hardsuit Labs, with an initial launch planned for Q1 2020.
