Tyler's 'First Proper Update' v0.3.4 Now Available for Testing

by Christian May 12,2025

The overnight sensation, *Drug Dealer Simulator: Schedule I*, continues to dominate Steam as one of its most-played games. The game's developer, Tyler, has just released the first significant post-launch update, version 0.3.4, now available for testing on the beta branch. According to Tyler's announcement on the game's Steam page, the update will stay in beta for a couple of days before its full release, but players can opt into the beta to experience it early.

Tyler mentioned that while the beta version 0.3.4 doesn't include all the features planned for the full release, it was important to roll out the beta quickly. "This beta doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release," Tyler explained. "I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed."

*Drug Dealer Simulator: Schedule I* soared to the top of Steam's sales charts upon its launch, outpacing heavyweights like *Monster Hunter Wilds*, *GTA 5*, and *Marvel Rivals*. The game went viral on social media, Twitch, and YouTube, attracting a massive player base. In *Schedule I*, players start as small-time drug dealers in the gritty city of Hyland Point and work their way up to becoming kingpins, managing drug production and distribution, and expanding their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by the Australian indie developer TVGS, aka Tyler, he described the game's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a post on Reddit, Tyler expressed his surprise at the game's reception, stating, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
