Paramount+ Unveils Star Trek: Section 31 – A Direct-to-Streaming Film
Hot on the heels of Lower Decks and in anticipation of Strange New Worlds Season 3, Paramount+ has released a new Star Trek movie directly to its streaming platform. Clocking in at approximately 100 minutes, this special focuses on Michelle Yeoh's character, Philippa Georgiou, from Star Trek: Discovery, and her involvement with the clandestine Starfleet division, Section 31.
Critical reception, however, has been less than stellar. IGN's Jordan Hoffman gave the film a scathing 2/10 review, stating it would "infuriate Star Trek fans and bore everyone else." He praised Yeoh's fight scenes as the only redeeming quality.
Intrigued despite the negative reviews? Here's where to watch it and what to expect.
