Bam Margera has been confirmed to be included in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 game, despite not being on the initial list of returning skaters. This news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.
Bagley revealed that the game was already completed when Tony Hawk reached out to Activision, requesting Bam Margera's addition. Although initially told it was impossible, Hawk's determination led to Margera's inclusion in the final version of the game. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.Bam Margera, known for his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced significant personal challenges, including struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, multiple rehab stints, and being fired from Jackass Forever. Additionally, Margera was subject to a restraining order issued by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats.
Recent videos of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together sparked speculation about Margera's return to the Tony Hawk series. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy and has overcome challenges, including the near-cancellation following the merger of previous developer Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
