The Horizons Celebration event is making a dazzling return to Pokémon Go, and it's bringing a delightful splash of pink with the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. Mark your calendars for the event, which runs from April 16th to 22nd, where you'll have the chance to encounter these new additions to the game.
Tinkaton, known for its playful yet powerful hammer-wielding antics, especially against Corviknight, will be an exciting catch. To evolve your Tinkatink all the way to Tinkaton, you'll need to gather around 125 Candy, so keep an eye out for them during the event.
Adding to the fun, Floragato will appear in a unique costume, sporting a hat adorned with Liko's pin. You can find this stylish Pokémon in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. There's even a chance to encounter a Shiny version, so keep your fingers crossed! Alongside Floragato, look out for Pikachu wearing Cap's hat and Charcadet roaming the game world.
A variety of beloved Paldea Pokémon, including Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi, will be wandering the wild areas. Meanwhile, seven km Eggs will hatch favorites like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to hatch Tinkatink as well. Don't forget to snap some photos; you might be surprised by photo-bombs from Horizons characters and their Pokémon.
On the combat front, Pikachu in Cap's hat will boast the powerful move Volt Tackle. Raids will feature a mix of Pokémon like Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. For those looking to maximize their rewards, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances will be halved, and both Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards will be boosted.
Engage in Field Research and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research to earn extra rewards, including an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
