Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev's Diary for April, unveiling the details of the latest update, Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly. This new quest is available starting today and will run until April 28th. Players are tasked with surviving the Shifting Tombs and altering the fate of the desert alongside Leela and Ozan.

Here's the Full Scoop on Pharaoh's Folly in RuneScape

The Kharidian desert is heating up, with Menaphos descending into chaos. After Osman's shocking betrayal against his own people, the city is crumbling from within. The populace is divided, and the sinister presence of Amascut lurks in the shadows, signaling more peril ahead. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is just the start of the challenges you'll face.

But you won't be alone in this adventure. Leela is back in action, and you'll gain new allies, including some adorable pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and unravel the true intentions behind Osman's actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Successfully completing Pharaoh's Folly comes with rewarding perks in RuneScape. You'll earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title of The Rabble-Rouser, and a new item, Leela's Favour bracelet. This bracelet allows you to teleport across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, tackling the Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly quest isn't for the faint-hearted or the novice. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the initial quest Beneath Scabaras' Sands, and to have checked off various tasks from the Do No Evil quest within Phite Club. Additionally, ensure you've built the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Only then can you meet Leela outside Menaphos' gates and attempt to restore the city to its former glory. If you meet all these criteria, download the game from the Google Play Store and embark on your journey to Return to the Desert!
