Subway Surfers marks its 13th anniversary this month, with SYBO preparing major celebrations for players worldwide. Starting May 12th, players will embark on a globe-trotting marathon to commemorate this special milestone.
The Game Returns to Its Roots!
The anniversary celebration begins in Copenhagen, the game's original setting. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital before launching a unique daily city-hopping challenge.
Players can unlock up to 21 iconic cities including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. Progress requires collecting World Tour suitcase tokens in each location to unlock subsequent destinations.
This update marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, continuing a tradition that began in 2013. Currently, the in-game celebration takes place in Osaka during Golden Week, featuring:
- Vibrant neon-lit environments
- Traditional Japanese elements
- Two new characters: Saru (via Season Challenge) and Oni Hime (special offer)
