Pokémon GO's Beloved Buddies event is bringing a wave of excitement, including surprise Pokémon debuts, boosted rewards, and challenging raids! This heartwarming event focuses on strengthening your bond with your Pokémon companions.
When Does the Beloved Buddies Event Start?
Get ready! The Beloved Buddies event runs from February 11th to February 15th. This is your chance to welcome Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon, to your collection for the very first time. Prepare for exciting raids featuring this newcomer!
Event Bonuses and Pokémon Encounters:
Catching Pokémon during the event will earn you double XP, giving you a significant boost to your trainer level. Lure Modules will also be supercharged, lasting a full hour and attracting a diverse group of Pokémon, including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching any of these Pokémon will reward you with an extra 500 Stardust!
Several Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, including Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce, increasing your chances of adding these shiny variants to your Pokédex. Other boosted wild spawns include Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.
Raid Battles:
Raids will offer a range of challenges. One-star raids feature Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp (with an increased shiny rate for Skrelp). Three-star raids bring Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise. Five-star raids will feature Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), and Mega Raids will challenge you with the powerful Mega Tyranitar.
