Toward the trailer’s close, Doro shares a brief moment with Stellar Blade’s protagonist, Eve. Fully animated, the meme icon strikes poses, dashes around, and wraps up the trailer with a playful chuckle.
The Doro meme originated as fan art of Stella Unibell from Soulworker, reimagined as a chibi-dog. It gained traction on Korean NIKKE forums, transforming NIKKE’s Dorothy into “Dororong.” Known as “Gremlin Dorothy” globally, her mischievous charm spread beyond the NIKKE fanbase.
The meme’s influence even reached SHIFT UP CEO Kim Hyung Tae, who, along with his wife, was seen with a Christmas-themed Doro plush in 2024. While Doro’s role in the DLC remains a mystery, fans are buzzing with excitement over this delightful addition.
Stellar Blade and NIKKE Crossover Arrives June 11
The eagerly awaited crossover event launches June 11, coinciding with Stellar Blade’s PC release. According to the official website, the expansion includes a new boss battle, NIKKE-themed rewards and outfits, a mini-game, and more.
The website states, “Scarlet, a warrior from SHIFT UP’s acclaimed third-person shooter mobile game, challenges players to an epic one-on-one duel. Defeat this new boss to unlock a unique costume, hairstyle, and song for Eve.”
The expansion also introduces a sci-fi shooting mini-game inspired by NIKKE, plus a rewards shop run by NIKKE’s robotic dog, Volt, offering themed cosmetics. Players can also enjoy a fishing activity to collect six exclusive NIKKE items.
Details about the outfits and rewards remain under wraps, but anticipation is high for this collaboration between SHIFT UP’s hit titles, promising an unforgettable experience for fans.
