Radiangames has announced Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series. This PC title, a sequel to the original mobile game, boasts a similar high-speed aesthetic and gameplay, and is slated for release later this year.
The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." They assure players this unconventional approach proves surprisingly intuitive.

Speed Demons 2 features ten game modes, including the destructively fun Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all requiring you to eliminate other vehicles within a time limit. For a different challenge, try Scratchless, echoing Burnout's Burning Lap mode, where minimizing car damage is key to victory.
