EA Unveils Battlefield Labs: Your Chance to Shape the Future of Battlefield

EA has launched Battlefield Labs, offering a select group of players early access to the next Battlefield game. This isn't your typical beta; it's an opportunity to provide crucial feedback and directly influence the game's development.

Battlefield Labs Program

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is a new program inviting players into the development process. Chosen participants will engage in early, pre-alpha playtests, providing feedback on various aspects of the game, including combat, map design, and balance. The experience will be far less polished than a traditional beta, featuring work-in-progress content and potential bugs.

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be selected, with plans for expansion to other regions and a larger player base. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Battlefield Labs vs. Beta Testing:

Unlike previous Battlefield betas, Battlefield Labs focuses on gathering feedback on unfinished game elements. Participants will encounter more bugs and incomplete features. In return for access, players must agree to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information about their experience.

How to Sign Up:

To register for a chance to participate in Battlefield Labs, visit the official Battlefield Labs webpage. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred platform, and complete the registration process. Be aware that you may encounter a queue; if so, you'll have a 15-minute window to access the site. After registering, monitor your email for updates and playtest invitations.

The next Battlefield game is slated for release in EA's FY26 (before April 1, 2026). This is your chance to be a part of its creation!
