S8UL to Represent India at WCS Finals After Pokémon Unite Qualifiers

by Alexander May 15,2025

The esports world is buzzing with excitement as S8UL secures their spot to represent India at the Pokémon Unite World Championship Series (WCS). This marks a triumphant return for the team, who previously faced disappointment at the Asia Champions League (ACL) where they were knocked out early and didn't qualify for the competition. Now, they're gearing up to head to the USA this August to compete in the WCS Finals.

The journey to the WCS wasn't easy for S8UL. After losing their opening match in the India Qualifiers, they were pushed into the lower bracket, making their climb to the top even more challenging. However, they showcased their resilience and skill by dominating opponents like Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark to secure their spot in the Finals.

This achievement isn't S8UL's first rodeo at the WCS; they were set to represent India in the 2024 WCS as well. Unfortunately, visa issues prevented them from competing in Honolulu. With cross-border travel to the US still presenting challenges, the team remains cautious, but hopeful that they can overcome any obstacles and make a significant impact at the WCS 2025 Finals this summer.

In other esports news, the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) finals are set to take place later this week, adding to the excitement in the gaming community.
