Midjiwan, the indie developer of The Battle of Polytopia, has unveiled a thrilling world championship! The Polytopia World Championship 2025 is set for this fall, with the studio inviting players worldwide to join the competition.
A Global Tournament Extravaganza!
The Battle of Polytopia World Championship revolves around the Battle of the Tribes theme. Players can select from Polytopia’s 12 unique tribes, each boasting distinct regional identities and strategic strengths, mirroring the game’s core mechanics.
The journey to the finals begins with open qualifiers, welcoming all to compete for a spot. Top performers advance to tribe-specific playoffs and elimination rounds, aiming to secure one of the six coveted spots at the live final in Stockholm on December 6th.
This in-person event will be streamed globally, allowing fans to watch epic battles and catch exclusive behind-the-scenes insights from the Midjiwan team, even if they don’t reach the finals.
Matches will unfold on the Polytopia Official Space via the Challengermode esports platform, starting with qualifiers on September 13th.
