The Pokémon Company has joined forces with the esteemed Japanese comic publisher Shogakukan to bring Pokécology to life. Shogakukan made the announcement on its website on April 21, revealing that the book will hit the shelves in Japan on June 18, 2025.
Pre-orders for Pokécology are already open in bookstores across Japan, with the encyclopedia priced at 1,430 yen (tax included). While there's no official word yet on a global release, given Pokémon's immense popularity worldwide, fans can anticipate an English version to be announced in the near future.
Exploring the World of Pokémon Ecology
Pokécology promises to offer an in-depth look at the ecology of Pokémon, providing detailed analyses and insights into their diet, sleep patterns, physical characteristics, and interactions with other Pokémon and their environment.
