Marvel Mystic Mayhem has officially launched, brought to mobile by NetEase and Exptional Global. It’s a turn-based tactical RPG where you step into a Marvel world twisted by Nightmare, blending horror, strategy, and superhero action.
A Darker Version of the World
Nightmare is a villain who drags heroes and villains alike into their worst subconscious terrors. Doctor Strange and Sleepwalker lead the charge, with the latter making a fitting debut since he only exists when his host is asleep.
They’re on a mission to rescue iconic characters trapped within nightmarish distortions of their own minds. You’ll encounter both well-known and obscure faces from the Marvel universe, including mystic and arcane figures.
You begin by assembling a team from a mix of Marvel heroes and villains, choosing from class types like Striker, Controller, Defender, and Fighter. The game emphasizes deep tactical decision-making.
Meanwhile, Nightmare stands at the heart of multiple modes featuring large-scale battles in trap-laden environments. Defeating him requires understanding his weaknesses and how the battlefield evolves.
