Set in 1898 within the ominous Sker Hotel on the Welsh coast, Maid of Sker immerses players in a world of dark secrets and spine-tingling Welsh hymns. Inspired by Welsh folklore, particularly the legend of Y Ferch o’r Sger (The Maid of Sker), the narrative unfolds as Thomas Evans investigates his girlfriend Elisabeth Williams’ family's unsettling behavior. However, the unsettling truth reveals the hotel's sinister control by a group known as "The Quiet Ones."
These enemies are blind but possess incredibly acute hearing. The slightest sound will attract their attention, creating intense gameplay. Unlike typical shooters, this game emphasizes stealth. Survival depends on silent movement and evasion. Think A Quiet Place, but with a helpful (though limited) gadget to temporarily stun foes.
