This exciting season draws inspiration from Marvel's Dark Reign storyline, the aftermath of the Civil War. Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin, seizes control of H.A.M.M.E.R. (Osborn's rebranded S.H.I.E.L.D.) and assembles his own Avengers, comprised of villains disguised as heroes.
This season introduces these new cards with staggered release dates: Victoria Hand (January 7th), Bullseye (January 21st), Moonstone (January 14th), and Ares (January 28th). A new location, Asgard Besieged, depicting Asgard under attack, is also added.
New Powers and Familiar Faces
The season brings back some lesser-known Marvel characters, offering diverse gameplay. Victoria Hand boosts the power of cards in your hand, while Norman Osborn summons a random high-cost card, potentially reducing its cost if you're winning the next turn.
