Lord of the Rings Magic Commander Decks Back in Stock at Amazon

by Eleanor Mar 24,2026

Magic: The Gathering is gearing up to release an all-new Spider-Man card set, but earlier Universes Beyond collections are still getting plenty of attention.

Beyond the surprising crossover of a Warhammer 40k Tyranid and Sonic the Hedgehog, we've noticed the Commander Decks from 2023's The Lord of the Rings series are once again available on Amazon.

Is this a clearance of leftover inventory or a new production run? It's unclear, but with two of the four decks currently on sale, it's definitely worth checking out.

Lord of the Rings MTG Commander Decks: Now Available Again on Amazon

Magic: The Gathering Hosts of Mordor

$87.89 at Amazon

All four decks are currently listed on Amazon, though one—The Hosts of Mordor—is priced significantly above the others.

This deck led by Sauron is incredibly fun to pilot, but whether it's worth nearly $90 is a decision for each player.

Magic: The Gathering Riders of Rohan

$49.92 at Amazon

Fortunately, the other decks are more affordably priced. Riders of Rohan, which we previously selected as one of our top deck recommendations, is currently priced at $49.92.

If you're after an aggressive, combat-focused deck, this is an excellent option, even though it isn't discounted.

Magic: The Gathering Food & Fellowship

$54.35 save 11%$48.59 at Amazon

Both the Food and Fellowship deck and the Elven Council deck are on sale. The Food and Fellowship deck, featuring Frodo and Sam with a life-gain theme centered on sacrificing Food tokens, is now just $48.59.

Magic: The Gathering Elven Council

$49.95 save 8%$45.87 at Amazon

Finally, the Elven Council deck showcases Galadriel, Legolas, and Arwen, and is currently priced at $45.87. It also includes a valuable reprint of Heroic Intervention, and Raise the Palisade still holds a solid secondary market value.

Each deck also comes with a 'Collector Booster Sample Pack' containing a few cards, offering chances for premium foils and special borderless treatments.
