Mortal Kombat 1 has released early gameplay footage of an exciting new Kameo fighter joining the battle in March. Discover more about Madam Bo and her unique abilities below!
Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo
New Kameo Fighter
Mortal Kombat 1 has officially unveiled its latest Kameo fighter with the release of a brand-new trailer featuring none other than Madam Bo, the sharp-witted owner of the Fengjian Teahouse. She will make her debut alongside T-1000 from Terminator 2 on March 18th, 2025, as part of the Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion. Before becoming an assist fighter in Mortal Kombat 1, Madam Bo appeared in the game’s story mode. Initially shown being attacked by Smoke for refusing to pay protection money, it was later revealed that this was all a clever ruse designed to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament ahead. Despite her age and grandmotherly appearance, Madam Bo is no pushover—she’s a former Lin Kuei associate and a highly skilled martial artist who personally trained both Kung Lao and Raiden.
In gameplay footage, Madam Bo demonstrates her combat prowess by fighting alongside her students, delivering powerful punches and kicks. Her moveset includes dramatic bottle-smashing combos and a signature finishing move—a devastating fatality where she kicks an opponent’s head clean off and catches it neatly on a tea tray.
T-1000 Enters the Fray as Guest Fighter
Alongside Madam Bo’s arrival on March 18th, the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day will make its debut in the Mortal Kombat universe. This liquid-metal assassin brings deadly versatility to the roster, shifting between forms to wield razor-sharp blades or unleash machine gun fire at high speed. As a guest character, the T-1000 adds a fresh layer of intensity and cinematic flair to the battlefield.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion
The addition of Madam Bo and T-1000 marks another wave of content under the Khaos Reigns expansion for Mortal Kombat 1. This major update expands Liu Kang’s New Era storyline with a brand-new campaign and immersive cinematic sequences. Players will follow Liu Kang as he unites his strongest warriors to confront the chaotic threat of Havik, a Titan determined to dismantle the balance of the realms.
Additionally, Kombat Pack 2 introduces a mix of returning favorites and brand-new fighters to the roster. The DLC characters were released across several dates starting in September 2024 with Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax. Ghostface from Scream joined in November, followed by Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Now, Madam Bo and T-1000 are set to complete the current wave of additions later this month.
