Seems like it’s a busy day for HoYoVerse as they’re rolling out major updates one after another! After teasing us with a glimpse of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 (you can catch the details here), they’ve now unveiled the exciting news surrounding Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.8. Titled Planetary Rewind, this update is set to launch on October 17th.
Introducing New Battlesuits, Events, and Rewards
Version 7.8 brings a host of fresh content, including new battlesuits, events, and generous rewards. Leading the charge is Vita, who’s getting a brand-new battlesuit called Lone Planetfarer. As a MECH-type Lightning Damage dealer, she’s ready to electrify the battlefield.
Meet Lone Planetfarer
This impressive battlesuit features a striking ring-like Drive Core, adorned with vibrant peacock feathers. She has two distinct forms to toggle between:
- Lone Traveler: In this mode, she wields her feathered loop to deliver elegant yet devastating strikes.
- Planet Quaker: Press the [ULT] button, and she transforms into this powerful form, unleashing laser beams while being shielded by Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion.

Unveiling the Main Story: The First and Last War
The main storyline of version 7.8 takes players back a century to the Ten Shus War on Langqiu. Characters like Vita, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie are deeply involved in this gripping tale. Players can look forward to丰厚 rewards such as Crystals, Source Prisms, Seele’s event stigma, and Dreamweaver’s brand-new outfit.
As a special treat, the HOHO Vacation Tickets are returning! Additionally, Elysian Realm will introduce LITE Combat as a permanent feature. A celebratory event kicks off on October 11th, offering free Equipment Supply Cards and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupons to all logins.
