Instead of Kuttenberg City, this side quest is picked up from Miskowitz in the Kuttenberg Region, which is to the west of the city. It's time to showcase your blacksmithing skills to complete "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.
Speak with Martha
Martha is located in the house connected to the forge in Miskowitz, found in the southeast section of this quaint village. Enter her home and engage in conversation, inquiring if she requires assistance. She will mention needing someone skilled in the art of blacksmithing. Respond with, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to accept the side quest, "Hush, My Darling."
If you haven't yet, you can also speak with the bailiff about Matthew, a member of the Dry Devil's group. Conveniently, the bailiff is standing right next to Martha, making it easy to locate her.
Craft Horseshoes
Screenshot by The Escapist. You may already possess the necessary items for this quest. You need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you could have crafted earlier to level up your blacksmithing skills and kept in your inventory. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge. After crafting the horseshoes, return to Martha.
Find Victoria
Screenshot by The Escapist. Martha informs you that the horseshoes need to be delivered to Victoria, and you volunteer to do so to progress the quest. Victoria resides in a house slightly south of the forge. Upon arriving, you'll find she's not home, but instead, you'll discover blood when you open the first door on the left.
Approach the blood and inspect it when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha and report your findings. She suggests checking Sigismund’s camp for Victoria.
Sigismund’s Camp
Screenshot by The Escapist. The camp is located south of Opatowitz. If you're also searching for Matthew from the Dry Devil group, you might encounter him on the path to the camp. Find the blacksmith at the camp and inquire about Victoria. He recalls a soldier named Black who took an interest in her. To locate Black, visit the infirmary tent, as he's currently ill.
Screenshot by The Escapist. Black requests medicine before he'll assist you, so provide him with a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. Wait a couple of hours for the medicine to take effect before he'll answer your questions.
Black reveals he said some things to Victoria and suggests she might have gone into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her sitting on a stump.
Victoria is distressed, so engage in conversation about the situation. The dialogue options you choose won't impact future events, but if you made Black promise to look after Victoria, you can share this with her, giving her hope for the future.
This conversation marks the completion of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can continue with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
