After a delay earlier this year, the highly anticipated open-world mobile shooter, Grand Outlaws, has finally made its debut. Hardbit Studio has confirmed that the game will soft launch on Google Play in the US, starting today, May 15th. While the rest of the world will have to wait a bit longer, US Android users can now dive into the action-packed world of Grand Outlaws.
The additional development time was well-spent, according to the developers. They used it to expand the game's locations, improve performance, and introduce more content, resulting in a broader and more stable experience ahead of the game's full rollout later this year.
At launch, Grand Outlaws will feature three core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. Each mode is designed for short-form chaos, with mobile-friendly controls and quick access to weapons, vehicles, and customizations. Players can switch between modes freely or explore the open world at their own pace.
While the soft launch is currently Android-only, Hardbit Studio has outlined a comprehensive multi-platform roadmap. The full Android and Epic Store release is scheduled for July or August, followed by iOS and PC versions via Steam and Epic in October. Console ports for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch are planned for 2026. Additionally, cross-platform play is in development, promising a seamless gaming experience across different devices.
Looking ahead, the studio is planning to enrich the game with additional content updates. These will include new modes like Heists and Destruction Derby, live events, a full cinematic story mode, and deeper customization options for both characters and hideouts. Brand collaborations and seasonal content drops are also on the horizon, ensuring that Grand Outlaws will continue to evolve and engage players.
