Genshin Impact 5.5: Android Controller Support Added

For those of you playing *Genshin Impact* on Android, exciting news is on the horizon! Controller support is finally making its way to your devices with the upcoming Version 5.5 update. It's been a long wait, especially since iOS players have enjoyed this feature since 2021.

When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?

Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, as that's when you'll be able to seamlessly connect your Android device to a controller and dive into the world of *Genshin Impact* without relying on the touchscreen. The update will officially support four types of controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all these controllers require Bluetooth connectivity.

But that's not all Version 5.5 has in store! You can also look forward to other quality-of-life enhancements. One of the highlights is the introduction of cross-scene quest tracking, which will allow you to follow your quests across different areas effortlessly. Simply open the map and teleport to your next destination with ease.

Additionally, boss guides are set for an update, providing new players with a better understanding of enemy mechanics. The Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all slated for optimizations, though you'll have to wait for the Special Program Announcement on March 14th for the full scoop.
