Fortnite is set to immerse players in the Star Wars universe with its upcoming season, dubbed "Galactic Battle," launching on May 2. This exciting season will not only feature a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass but also introduce a captivating five-part saga filled with surprises, including the much-anticipated arrival of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale mode.
The announcement, made during the Star Wars Celebration, teased even more Star Wars-themed content coming next month, such as the introduction of Force Lightning as an in-game ability that promises to enhance the gameplay experience.

Further details revealed that the Battle Pass will include iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups such as the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. New additions to the Item Shop will feature Mace Windu, and players will get the thrilling opportunity to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters across themed map locations and beyond.
The five-part saga of the season will unfold weekly, each with its own unique theme:
- Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
- The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
- Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
- Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
- Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025
This saga will culminate in an in-game narrative live event, promising players an immersive experience where they will feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
