The Flexispot C7 is loaded with features typically found in more expensive chairs. It boasts an automatically adjusting lumbar system, adjustable seat depth, armrests, seat tilt, headrest, and an impressive 128 degrees of recline.
Flexispot C7 Review (without footrest) by Bill Loguidice
The FlexiSpot C7 offers solid performance for the price. However, I would have preferred a more premium-feeling material like leather instead of fabric, and some aspects like cushioning could use more attention. The inability to lock the wrist rests in place was an occasional annoyance. If you value adjustability and can overlook its quirks, the C7 is a good choice. Its understated design fits well in professional settings, but if you're after something more flashy or luxurious, you might want to look elsewhere.

Flexispot E5 Electric Standing Desk

$199.99 at Flexispot
The Flexispot E5 is the best value electric standing desk on the market, offering all the premium features you need. Currently priced at $199.99 (down from $379.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80. The E5 features dual motors, which are superior to single motors because they support more weight (up to 287 pounds) and last longer due to evenly distributed stress. The desk's double crossbeam structure ensures even support to prevent sagging, while the steel legs with a 3-stage column provide a greater vertical range (23.6" to 49.2") than most desks in this price range. The anti-collision feature stops the desk if it detects an obstruction, and the keypad includes three memory presets and a timer for sit/stand reminders. The E5 is backed by a 10-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical components, including the motor.

For an additional $140, the E7 offers enhanced build quality, a higher weight threshold (up to 355 pounds), more accessories, and a longer warranty. The legs feature laser-welded seams and a powder-coated finish for a professional look. The advanced keyboard includes an LCD display, more memory presets, a USB charger, and a child-lock function. A built-in cable tray helps manage wiring, and the E7 comes with a 15-year warranty on all components.

The E7 Pro is Flexispot's premium offering. Although it's not as heavily discounted as other models, it's currently $419.99 (down from $599.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80. It boasts the highest build quality, supporting up to 440 pounds. The motor is said to be superior, offering smoother and faster movement. It also includes more cable management options than the E7. The E7 Pro comes with the same 15-year warranty as the E7 on all components.
Flexispot E7 Pro Review by Billy Givens
The FlexiSpot E7 Pro stands out with its simple yet effective keypad, quiet dual motors, excellent cable management, and superior stability. It's a top-tier choice for both work and gaming, making it an excellent option whether it's your first desk or an upgrade from an older model.
Consider getting a desk frame here and the desktop surface elsewhere
I own three standing desks. One came with a desktop, but for the other two, I sourced my own surfaces. For one, I got a massive 74"x26" maple veneered countertop from Ikea for $199, and for the other, a 48"x25" solid wood countertop from Home Depot that I finished myself. There are many options available, and these standing desk bases don't require the manufacturer's desktops. If you choose to install your own desktop, ensure it's within the weight limitations.
How does Flexispot compare to other brands?
From personal experience, I own a Jarvis Fully, a Vari Ergo, and a Flexispot E5. All three are excellent desks, but the Flexispot E5 is significantly less expensive while offering similar performance. For the price of a basic Jarvis Fully, you could get the top-end Flexispot E7 Pro and still save money.
