Here's the official synopsis for The Fantastic Four: First Steps:

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) — as they confront their most formidable challenge yet. Balancing their heroic duties with their familial bonds, they must defend Earth from the voracious space god Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his mysterious Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ planet-devouring scheme wasn't enough, things take a deeply personal turn.

At New York Comic Con (NYCC) in October, attendees were shown artwork featuring several key MCU characters, including a first look at the live-action H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics).

Speculation abounds regarding a potential Robert Downey Jr. return as Doctor Doom, either within The Fantastic Four: First Steps or in future teasers. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's appearance in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
