This year's Warhammer Skulls 2025 event has been packed with announcements. From new games to major DLCs and updates across the franchise, there's a lot to cover. Mobile gamers, in particular, have exciting news: Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is introducing the Adeptus Custodes, while Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge welcomes the Emperor’s Children.
Command the Adeptus Custodes
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is expanding its Imperium roster with the legendary Adeptus Custodes. These elite warriors, the Emperor's personal guardians, surpass even Space Marines in strength, resilience, and firepower.
A new Legendary Survival Event, launching on May 24th, will be your chance to recruit them. Leading the charge is Captain-General Trajann Valoris, a commander renowned for his ability to withstand immense punishment and retaliate with devastating force.

Meanwhile, Kill at the Command of the Emperor’s Children!
Over in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, a very different force is making its debut. The corrupted legion known as the Emperor’s Children has arrived.
Once loyal defenders of the Imperium, they turned to the Chaos God Slaanesh during the Horus Heresy. Now, they are devotees of excess, seeking perfection in sensation, art, and the extremes of pain and pleasure.
This new faction features three unique warlords. Lord Kaphrael specializes in hunting enemy champions and leads the Callous Blades warband. Xarahan embodies arrogance on the battlefield, while the immortal Lucius the Eternal brings millennia of dueling mastery.
Their gameplay mechanics reflect their twisted philosophy. The 'Ecstasy' keyword triggers powerful effects when a unit's health falls to a certain threshold. 'Cruelty' provides bonuses for wounding enemies without finishing them off.
Meanwhile, 'Stimulation' activates when a unit is targeted by a stratagem. 'Combat Elixirs' generate additional stratagems to fuel these sinister synergies. Get a glimpse of their style in the trailer below.
