Strategies to Defeat All E.R.P.O. Monsters
E.R.P.O. frequently introduces new monsters, so bookmark this page for regular updates. Below are guides for specific monsters. While each has a unique strategy, you can also use weapons such as:
Melee Combat: Purchase weapons like the Machete or Hammer from the shop for 10,000 to 20,000 cash. They appear in your next level, where you can grab them with M1 and swing at monsters to inflict damage. Exercise caution with ranged monsters like the Huntsman. A hit-and-run approach is advisable to minimize melee damage. Carry healing packs for safety.
Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades and Mines are effective. Pick up a Grenade with M1, unscrew it with E, then throw or place it to cause significant damage, potentially eliminating weaker monsters or heavily damaging stronger ones. Mines require placement, detonating when a monster steps on them.
Monster Brawl: Manipulate a Huntsman to attack another monster by luring it while making noise through walking or voice chat, causing it to hit the monster you’re hiding behind. Similarly, bait Reapers during their attack animation to damage each other or other monsters.
Below are tailored strategies for each monster.
Robe (Ghost) Strategy

The Robe is a large, shadowy figure that grabs and damages you on contact. Evade it by crouching and hiding, or kite it around. Eliminate it with two Grenades or Mines by luring it to their location. Avoid melee combat due to its high damage output. Be cautious, as staring at its mask causes it to teleport and move faster toward you.
Reaper Strategy

The Reaper, a tattered doll-like creature with sword arms, spins to attack in melee range. It can be kited or avoided like the Robe but lacks teleportation. Melee weapons are effective since it deals moderate damage. One Grenade plus a few melee hits can defeat it, and Grenades or Mines can stun it temporarily.
Apex Predator (Duck) Strategy

These small, non-hostile ducks follow you unless provoked. Attacking or accidentally harming them (e.g., with falling objects) turns them hostile, causing them to fly and bite for minimal damage. They persist in chasing you, even if you hide. Outrun them or use melee weapons to defeat them, as their low HP makes Grenades unnecessary.
Huntsman Strategy

The Huntsman, a blind gunman, can one-shot you if you make noise via voice chat or fast movement nearby. Crouch with C and hide under tables to avoid detection. Melee is risky due to its auto-aim. Instead, place a Mine in its path or throw a Grenade while crouched to deafen it for six seconds, allowing a safe melee attack.
