Nintendo has unveiled Donkey Kong Bananza, an all-new 3D platforming adventure exclusive to Switch 2, launching July 17, 2025 at $69.99.
The announcement came during Nintendo Direct alongside a debut gameplay trailer. According to Nintendo:
Experience Donkey Kong Bananza – a revolutionary 3D platformer built exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. Smash through obstacles, scale environments, and reshape the battlefield by tearing apart landscapes to create weapons and pathways. Destruction unlocks new areas as you embark on this chaotic journey filled with surprises, challenges, and barrels of bananas when Donkey Kong Bananza arrives July 17.
The Nintendo Switch 2 itself arrives June 5, 2025 priced at $449.99.

For $499.99, Nintendo offers a Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle featuring the console and digital game code. Mario Kart World releases June 5 separately at $79.99 – marking Nintendo's highest-priced standalone game.

The presentation also revealed additional Switch 2 titles coming in 2025.
