Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, is now live and it's the game's biggest season yet! This season introduces a wealth of new content that completely changes the game's dynamics, encouraging you to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What's in Store in Torchlight: Infinite's Eighth Season Sandlord?
The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you'll manage. You'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into substantial benefits by assigning workers to one of five professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.
The character Thea has undergone a significant transformation. No longer just a divine channeler, she's now known as the Blasphemer. Instead of granting blessings, she spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has also been revamped, featuring five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been introduced. These work similarly to Compasses but occupy their own slot, enhancing both the rewards and the difficulty of your adventures.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience is enhanced with new Legendary Stages. These stages are rare but offer unique loot setups that can significantly alter your gameplay strategy.
Some zones break from the traditional formula, like the Abyssal Vault, which contains no enemies but is filled with Mystery Chests ready to be opened.
On the other hand, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of goblins that don't attack. Defeating them may summon a secret boss, adding an extra layer of excitement.
In the Supreme Showdown, both you and the bosses can utilize the Golden Gaze mechanic. A well-timed hit can transform enemies into treasure, adding a strategic twist to the battles.
