The Witcher 4 developer, CD Projekt Red, has taken to social media to alert players about a widespread beta test invite scam. On April 16, they utilized The Witcher's official X (formerly Twitter) account to clarify that any invitations to a beta test for The Witcher 4 are fraudulent.
Their post stated, "We've been actively working to remove this misleading information. Should you encounter any such invites or related news, please report it using the reporting tools on your email or social media platform."
CD Projekt Red emphasized that future beta tests, if any, would be announced exclusively through The Witcher’s official channels.

The Witcher 4 made its debut at the Game Awards in December 2024, accompanied by a captivating trailer spotlighting the new protagonist, Ciri. This announcement sparked significant discussion within the gaming community, accustomed to Geralt's role as the central figure in the previous titles.
