Boss fights in *The First Berserker: Khazan* are a true test of skill, especially when you're not fully prepared for what's coming. Phase 1

As you step into the battle arena within a castle filled with a crimson liquid, you'll face the Blade Phantom, a multi-phase boss that challenges your stamina management and combat prowess. Here’s what to expect and how to counter:
- Six-hit combo: Four punches and two kicks, with the second kick being delayed.
- Three-hit combo: Two punches followed by a downward kick.
- Four-hit combo: Starts with a right hook, followed by two kicks, and ends with a leaping kick smash.
- Three-hit combo with grab: Flashing punches followed by a grab that you must dodge.
Beyond its melee prowess, the Blade Phantom can summon different weapons:
- Hammer: Causes red spikes to emerge when it smashes down.
- Spear: A quick throw followed by a teleporting smash.
- Blade: Initiates a swift six-hit combo.
The key is to learn the timing of these attacks, dodge or parry them, and find openings to attack, thereby depleting the Blade Phantom’s stamina for a Brutal Attack. Continue this strategy until the boss’s health is halved, which triggers Phase 2.
Phase 2

In Phase 2, the Blade Phantom escalates its offensive with new attacks:
- Claw attacks: Four claw swipes followed by a spear throw from above.
- Leaping swipe: After the spear lands, avoid the affected area.
- Greatsword slashes: Three slashes ending with a hammer smash.
The Blade Phantom will continue using its previous moves, now mixed with:
- Spear thrust and follow-up.
- Swift dual-wielding attacks: Four to six sets.
- Teleportation: More frequent, making it harder to predict.
- Burst Attack: When a red P-like symbol appears, use Counterattack (L1/LB + Circle/B) to parry, restoring your stamina and opening the boss for more attacks.
To maximize damage, attack when the Blade Phantom’s stamina is depleted, and initiate the Brutal Attack just before the window closes. This strategy will help you defeat the boss and claim your rewards: 8,640 Lacrima, Soul Eater gear items, a Shieldsman’s Ring, and Netherworld Mineral for crafting.
