Critical Role Postpones Campaign 3 Climax Due to Los Angeles Fires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The impact on the cast, crew, and community has necessitated this delay. While a return on January 16th is hoped for, further postponements remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its climactic finale, with the number of remaining episodes currently uncertain. The last episode ended on a significant cliffhanger, leaving fans eager for resolution. The conclusion of Campaign 3 is anticipated soon, potentially followed by a new campaign utilizing the Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th stream was canceled due to the immediate impact of the fires. Several cast and crew members were directly affected. Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray were forced to evacuate, while Dani Carr was thankfully safe, and Kyle Shire unfortunately lost his home. The Critical Role community has expressed support and relief for those affected.

While a one-week delay is the current plan, further postponements are possible as the situation evolves. Fans are encouraged to be patient and offer support where possible.

The Critical Role Foundation is actively demonstrating this support, donating $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund to aid those impacted by the fires. The show's motto, "Don't forget to love each other," resonates deeply during this challenging time.
